Attention:  New York State residents

(Back)

The state of New York has banned its citizens from direct access to laboratory services or "self-referral." Therefore, YOU are not allowed to get a "preventative" blood test on your own - even though it is done at a NY licensed laboratory (CLIA-certified), ordered by an MD, and at lower prices than the price the same lab would charge otherwise.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!
Click Here to send an email to Betty Kusel, Director of Regulatory Affairs, NY Dept of Health, if you believe that:

...it should be a citizen's right to take charge of their own health for prevention and early detection;

...citizens taking a proactive approach with their health will lower healthcare costs;

...it should be a citizen's right to have access to wellness lab tests at any time and at discount prices;

...
the state Dept of Health does not have the right to prevent you from using a Direct Access Testing company that uses only CLIA-certified, NY licensed laboratories;

...you agree with our mission to provide access to laboratory screening tests to personally monitor your wellness for prevention or early detection and not be forced to wait for a symptom!

Prevention is the key to reform of the U.S. healthcare system. The healthcare industry is a treatment-oriented system: a philosophy based on curing sickness rather than preventing it.
