US
BioTek Laboratories, USBTL, provides testing services to physicians
worldwide offering specialized Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assays,
ELISA, for food and inhalant allergens, Candida-specific antibodies
and antigen, in addition to organic acids and environmental pollutant
assays through high resolution Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry,
GC/MS. We are a dedicated team of experienced scientists
and technicians that operate with a “hands-on” approach
to ensure delivery of precision and reliability in testing to
physicians through state-of the-art technology and an ongoing
commitment to research.
USBTL
is certified under CLIA- 0D0965664, Clinical Laboratory Improvement
Amendments, and is qualified to perform high complexity clinical
testing. We are a participant in the proficiency testing programs
of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), are certified
and accredited under COLA (Commission of Laboratory Accreditation)
and recognized under the Washington State Department of Health.
As
a specialty laboratory, the assays offered though USBTL are not
available as FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), cleared
tests because of the small market in which they occupy. These
tests have either been developed and independently validated
for performance characteristics by US BioTek, or specialized
licensed manufacturers in accordance to CLIA proficiency testing
criteria for acceptable analytical performance. Although
these assays have not been cleared or approved by the FDA, and
are considered for investigational and research purposes only,
it should be noted that the FDA does not require these types
of in-house testing to go through pre-market FDA review. Regulations
as defined by CLIA provide the appropriate oversight for a lab
offering specialty testing. CLIA governs all lab operations including;
accreditation, proficiency testing, quality assurance, quality
control, records and information systems, test methods, equipment,
and instrumentation. Regulations set under these operations are
designed to assure reliability and consistency of laboratory
test results. US BioTek strictly abides by CLIA guidelines for
monitoring and evaluating the quality of our analytical assays,
a quality that has defined USBTL as a trusted name in specialty
testing. As
an added service to our practitioners, a complimentary customized
four-day Elimination and Rotation Diet Guideline packet is provided
with each patient’s Food Antibody
report. Also, Carbon Based Corporation provides a fully customized
interpretation of our Urinary Metabolic Profile and Environmental
Pollutants Panel.
These comprehensive test interpretations
are an invaluable tool for patient management providing detailed status
into all analytes tested, with concise nutritional support
guidelines.*
Shipping *Specimens
mailed from Washington State, Alaska and Hawaii may be mailed
via US Postal Service with the prepaid mailers provided. A
more immediate delivery is the at the cost of the physician.
*Specimens
mailed from all other states in the USA

the additional charges. •Saturday
DHL delivery will incur extra shipping charges
to the doctor.•Complete
sections 1 and 3 on the prepaid DHL Express waybill, only.
•Attach
the waybill to the DHL Express lab pack mailer. •Place
the specimen(s) and the completed test requisition form into
the DHL Express lab pack mailer. Seal securely.
•If
DHL Express does not visit the doctor’s office for regular
scheduled pick-ups, the doctor is required to call them at
1-800 Call-DHL for the location of the nearest DHL Express
drop box.

Antibody Assessment Through US BioTek’s proprietary ELISA methodology, a multi-well
plate is coated with purified food proteins and glycoproteins or,
inhalants at a specific concentration. The patient’s serum
sample is then added to the plate. If the patient’s serum
contains antibodies to any of these specific and defined food or
inhalant proteins, a binding reaction will occur. The degree of
antibody-antigen binding is dependent on the concentration of antibodies
present in the patient’s serum. This reaction is detected
through a color change and assessed spectrophotometrically.
US BioTek Laboratories has set a new standard for identifying and
quantifying both serum IgE and IgG antibodies in response to Foods,
Inhalants, Spices, and Herbs. Employing cutting edge methodology
and super-tight quality control, our state-of-the-art ELISA (Enzyme
Linked Immunosorbent Assay) tests are becoming the obvious choice
for today's clinicians.
Antigen
Standardization - We start with the highest quality
reagents available and take further care to standardize each
antigen (food, inhalant, spice or herb).
*Accurate and Consistent
- We use robotics
to ensure accurate, uniform, and consistent assay results.
Day to day assay variability due to technical error is eliminated.
*All
Results are Run in DUPLICATE - This
ensures a valid and precise assay with repeatable test results.
*Our
Assay Quantifies True Antibody
Levels - Positive
and negative controls are run with each individual blood sample
ensuring accurate results. Results are presented as antibody
levels against respective antigens.
*Report includes both
Total IgG and IgE values.
*Color Bar Graph offers
a Visual Representation of the Results.
*Foods and Inhalants
are grouped by Type. (E.g. dairy, nuts/grains, molds, pollens,
etc.)
*User-Friendly Report
within 7 days from Receiving Blood Sample.
*Individualized Food Stats
Elimination & Rotation
Diet Guideline is Included with each Report.
*Hassle-free
Pick Up by Airborne Express.
Urinary
Metabolic Profile by GC/MS
Urinary
organic acids derived from the metabolic conversion of
dietary proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, in addition
to compounds of bacterial origin, provide a unique chemical
profile of the patient’s
cellular health. Key metabolic markers of cellular physiology
are quantified through GC/MS analysis to assess for compromised
energy production, neurotransmitter metabolism, nutrient
deficiencies, and intestinal dysbiosis. Clinically these
makers offer valuable information into possible causative
factors of dysfunctional cellular physiology; affecting
one’s physical and mental performance, and overall
health status.
Environmental
Pollutants Panel US BioTek Laboratories now offers the Environmental
Pollutants Panel - A GC/MS urine analysis for assessment of patient
exposure to common environmental and occupational chemicals.
Chronic exposures to a number of occupational and environmental
pollutants are a growing concern in today's industrialized communities
as their effects on human health are profound. Many have been linked
to a variety of pathologies including neuropsychological, and neuropsychological
dysfunction, leukopaenia, dyspnoea, anemia, and certain cancers,
to name but a few.

In addition to the serum tests, we offer many tests through specialty
labs and have added a page for each, listing the tests offered
through them.
Some of those labs tests overlap, some use different methods of analysis
(urine vs saliva), and some are unique. However, we wanted you to
have access to making the choice.

IMPORTANT!
You
must first order through DIRECT LABS and receive the necessary requisition prior to
