Description:
Catecholamines are neurotransmitters and include dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. These proteins help control a variety of functions, including:
• muscle tone
• heart rate
• blood pressure
• glucose (sugar) metabolism

Catecholamines are primarily produced in your adrenal glands. Levels fluctuate in response to physical/emotional stress, outside temperature, blood loss, exercise, low blood sugar, and going from seated to standing, or vice versa
